This easy to use dolly enables a single person to shift heavy furniture and cabinets with ease over level floors. It's great advantage over a conventional dolly is that its lifting forks adjust width-wise and have inner flanges (or 'lips') at ground level. So by tipping the load just over a centimetre or two, each lip can be slid underneath in turn. As there is no lifting involved, one operator can manoeuvre loads up to 750kg - five times the weight of a conventional, four drawer filing cabinet when full. The new 1000kg models can handle even heavier loads with 2 operators. |
