Low profile pallet trucks are particularly useful for handling the low pallets often used inside 20ft and 40ft export ISO containers. These are common from Asia and USA where space within the containers is at a premium and the pallets were probably loaded into the containers with a forklift whose forks were only 40mm thick. Standard pallet trucks have a lowered height of 85 to 90mm to suit the gaps in standard pallets so these are unsuitable.
