STILL ECH 12 Electric Powered Pallet Trucka brief guide to the operator’s controls.

The STILL ECH 12 (fig.1) is a compact powered pallet truck, with full length forks 1150mm by 560mm, for handling both Euro and Chep pallets, even in applications with limited operating space.

With a gradeability of 4% and 10% unladen, it combines performance with stylish and ergonomic design.

The STILL ECH 12 features a quick change lithium-ion battery which can be fully recharged in 2.5 hours, via a 3 pin plug. (see fig.2&3)

These Lithium-ion batteries are incredibly quick and easy to change

(fig.2&3)

All of this means that you can easily get the maximum productivity out of the STILL ECH-12 for your application.

Controls on the STILL ECH 12 are simple to use:

(fig.4)

You first use the (fig.4) red dial to turn the unit on, then just pull the tiller back and engage the Grey collars in the desired direction of travel. (fig.5)

(fig.6)

Lifting your pallet is taken care of at the press of a button (fig.6)

With its 1200kg capacity the STILL ECH 12 can handle the vast majority of palletised loads, any customer is likely to have.

To make others in your operating area aware of your presence, just beep the horn. This is useful when reversing and when operating is busy areas. (fig.7)

 (fig.7)

In busier work spaces you may wish to make use of the Turtle mode Button.

Lowering a load is easily done via squeezing the lever on the Tiller handle (which looks like a bike brake lever). (fig.8&9)

  (fig.8&9)

As a safety feature, the STILL ECH 12 has what is known as a belly button brake (see Red button in fig.10), which helps prevent the operator from sustaining crush inquires, this is particularly important when working in tight spaces.

This is intended to just be a brief introductory guide and so is not intended to replace either the user manual or suitable training.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As with all Material Handling Equipment we would always recommend that all organisations have their own Health & Safety Risk Assessment conducted, prior to use.
